Description

Message in a Bottle (MIB) is the Treasure Map of the high seas. When you look inside the bottle, you will find either a Waterstained SOS or, less commonly, an Ancient SOS . Within the message, you will find coordinates to a Sunken Treasure Chest. You will need at least 80 Fishing to have a chance of pulling up the chest. Some patience may be required to fish up the chest, you may find many an old boot before you hit the jackpot. Using a bent rod will pull up the treasure chest without pulling up junk items first. It is generally recommended that you collect a few MIBs and then group them up by location before sailing out.

Sunken Treasure Chests

Sunken Treasure Chests have 3 levels of loot which are randomly chosen when fished up starting at 80 Fishing Skill. Ancient Sunken Treasure Chests always contain level 4 loot. Both chests will be trapped even if found unlocked. All chests have a low chance for a Portal Fragment, Talisman Crumbling Relics or Pet Crumbling Relics, and always come with a type of Special Fishing Net which can also show up as one of the many available special colors. The Sunken Treasure Chest is also an item in the game you get to keep and has been found in the various Paragon Chest Hues, and as of recently other colors have been found for the Ancient Sunken Treasure Chests.

The following items can be found in either chest:
