These rare but beautiful birds come in many, many colors and spawn wherever chickens spawn. These were introduced for the infamous Chicken Fights which has been seen on the server since 2013! They come higher stats than a normal chicken and can train to GM skills in Wrestling, Tactics, Anatomy. They also instantly bond when fed a grain item(such as a loaf of bread), this is to allow quick training attempts as they only have 5 HP. It is recommended for training that you Bless these chickens to keep their life bars at a reasonable level to use their GM skills. | |||

Description
This is a list of some of the most commonly used tameable Monsters and animals as well as rare spawn tameables. The maintainers of this archive were ably assisted by many helpful tamers including Shortbus, Great Dragon, Suikoden, and many other adventurers!
Note: The locations of the tameables, particularly the rarer spawns, may change at the whim of the UOForever Game Masters! The loremasters maintaining this archive will endeavour to ensure the information here is kept current.
Warning: Certain tameables, such as Swamp Dragons, are very attractive targets for pet trappers who will try to lure your pets to their house to trap it. For more information please see the Protecting Your Pets page.
Bonding
Pet bonding is possible on UO Forever. This can be achieved through the normal means - feed once, wait a week, feed again. For the impatient, there is also a pet bonding deed which can be purchased from the Donation Coin vendors. A pet ball can also be purchased to link to your pet which then allows you to summon the pet in case you lose it deep in a dungeon. Be aware that some unfriendly folk like to lure pets - Be careful where you leave your pet and if it is valuable to you, be sure to get a pet ball!
Control
You can use the following form to calculate your chance to control your pet:
Pack Instinct
Some tameables across the world have the pack instinct ability. Having this affinity produces increased damage when used in a group of the same instinct. The current pack instinct categories are arachnid, bear, bull, canine, daemon, equine, feline, and ostard.
The benefit you gain is for each pet in the pack it increases the damage bonus by 25%. This then caps at 300% damage increase, which is mainly possible with the Crab Meta pet via the brood relics.
Taming Charts
There are 2 major divisions of Tameables; Pets and Mounts.
Pets are non-mountable creatures that will come to your aid but must be able to either walk/fly to you or the target. When these Pets are unbonded, you will need to use the spell Gate Travel or physically lead them to an exit. You can use Donation Coins to purchase a Bonding Deed in order to instantly bond the creature which will then recall with you if the creature is set to follow or guard mode.
Mounts are creatures that will allow you to ride them once they have been successfully tamed and are not currently poisoned. When a Mount is tamed, you may want to force it to stop attacking you with an "all stop" command, then mount the creature so you can recall out with it. Be careful if it is an aggressive creature, it may get flagged with a criminal status if it continues to attack you in town once you dismount to stable the creature! It is advised to either ride the creature for 120 seconds, or take it to a home or place out of guards reach while the original criminal timer wears off. Mounts commonly die in town and are lost forever if they have guards called on them and are still retaining this criminal status, however if you use Donation Coin bought Bonding Deeds, the pet will become a resurrectable target after it has been killed in town.

A crafter's best friend - These friendly beetles act as a rideable pack animal. Great for resource gathering and generally moving heavy loads around without the frustration and risk of dragging a pack horse around with you. The beetles have a chance to spawn in the Spider Cave. While they do not require a particularly high level of taming, you may need to look out for the other malicious spawn in the Spider Cave.

100 Wrestling, Tactics, Anatomy
These rare but beautiful birds come in many, many colors and spawn wherever chickens spawn. These were introduced for the infamous Chicken Fights which has been seen on the server since 2013! They come higher stats than a normal chicken and can train to GM skills in Wrestling, Tactics, Anatomy. They also instantly bond when fed a grain item(such as a loaf of bread), this is to allow quick training attempts as they only have 5 HP. It is recommended for training that you Bless these chickens to keep their life bars at a reasonable level to use their GM skills.
Battle Chicken Colors
There are various colors that have been seen throughout the lands, and brave adventurers are still gathering up information on the possible colors that can be found in the wild:

While dragons are certainly large enough to support an adventurer on their backs, they are naturally designed to lift with their claws and leave plenty of wingspan room for their impressive wing muscles. However, once in a while, you may find yourself in the presence of a dragon fit for riding. These dragons not only need to be trained for the addition of you and your gear on their backs, but you also need to be trained to be on the dragons back as well! There are rumors of those that seek to mount a dragon can read about how-to in ancient scrolls of knowledge.
