Resisting Spells

Description

The Resisting Spells skill simply grants a passive chance to reduce or prevent damage of offensive spells cast on your character. It is vital in most, if not all Player vs Player, templates. You can completely resist certain spells such as Mana Vampire or Poison.

Resisting Spells is not enhanced by any other skills but it can be complemented by maintaining the Level 5 Magery spell Magic Reflection. UO Forever exists in an era before elemental resists were introduced. Higher Resisting Spells will therefore not alter the elemental resists shown in your Status.

Recommended Leveling

0-45: Buy from NPC

45-65: Mana Drain on Self (Also raising Magery and Evaluating Intelligence)

65-75: Mana Vampire or Energy Bolt on Self (Also raising Magery and Evaluating Intelligence)

75-100: Mana Vampire or Flamestrike on Self (Also raising Magery and Evaluating Intelligence)

Overdrive Notes

GM Resisting Spells reduces spell damage by 20% ONLY on Overdrive Server.
