Archery

Description

Archery is a skill for ranged fighting for the use of bows and crossbows. This is used against creatures and players to keep a safe distance from them. The difficulty with archery is keeping a safe enough distance not to be hit but close enough that the target does not extend outside of your firing range.

As an archer you will need arrows or bolts. If you train in Fletching you will have a 99% chance of success to make these with only 30% skill level. You will need to gather wood from the forest and kill birds or harpies for feathers. Also, centaurs, ratmen mages and juka lords are usually good sources of free arrows. Alternatively, you could buy arrows from any town fletcher or archer.
