Runic Sewing Kit
Description
Runic sewing kits are rewards for turning in certain Bulk Order Deeds (BODs) to NPC tailors. There are three (3) different types of runic sewing kits based upon leather colors (note there is not an normal runic sewing kit). New sewing kits will be given a standard number of charges:
- Spined - 45 charges
- Horned - 30 charges
- Barbed - 15 charges
How They Work
Runic sewing kits can be used to craft exceptional magical leather, studded and bone armor. Each of these will have additional modifiers based on the type of runic sewing kit. The more rare the color of the runic sewing kit, the better modifiers it grants to leather, studded and bone armor. You must use the correct leather type for each sewing kit or the properties will not be applied. Barbed runic sewing kit needs to use barbed leather for example. Below are a list of the modifiers received per runic sewing kit:
Armor Properties
Leather Color | Durability Modifier | Armor Modifier |
---|---|---|
Spined | Durable | Defense |
Horned | Substantial | Guarding |
Barbed | Massive | Hardening |
Advantages
The biggest advantage of runic sewing kits are that since they are crafted by tailors, they can have the exceptional modifier on top of the properties provided by the runic sewing kit. This means that runic sewing kit are much more powerful than a magical armor with the same durability and armor modifiers.
