Magery

Description

Magery is used to cast spells, there are many types of spells such as harmful spells, buffing spells, healing spells and polymorph spells. There are a total of 64 spells that can be cast by a high leveled mage. Magery is coupled well with Evaluate Intelligence for damage boosts and Meditation to gain mana more quickly.

Spells work in "Circles", each circle of spell is a little bit harder to cast than the next and costs more mana. See Magery Spells.

Casting spells in quick succession is vital in Player vs Player scenarios and is not necessarily restricted to "Mages", some warriors choose to apply to magery skill to their template, allowing them to cast cure or recall without needing much Intelligence or Mana.

Reagents

Reagents are used for Magery, Inscription and Alchemy. You must have Reagents to cast spells and the spell will fail to even attempt without the required reagents in your backpack. The reagents required for each spell vary and can be found in your spell book, see Magery Spells. See a list of Reagents below.

65 - 75: Mana Vampire or Energy Bolt on Self (Also raising Resisting Spells and Evaluating Intelligence)

75 - 100: Mana Vampire or Flamestrike on Self (Also raising Resisting Spells and Evaluating Intelligence)
