Incoming Patch Notes
Enhanced Polymorph System
- Enhanced Polymorph entries have been refactored and expanded. Each form now explicitly defines its stat ranges, stat point cap, base skills, skill caps, allowed armor type, and evolution XP requirement.
- Stat changes are now prevented while polymorphed. This prevents unintended stat manipulation and edge cases while a form is active.
- Fixed an issue where being polymorphed during a server restart could reset Strength to 1.
- Armor restrictions are now polymorph-specific. Each form defines which armor material types can be worn while polymorphed.
- Clothing, armor, and weapon restrictions now only apply to Enhanced Polymorph. This restores the original behavior for the regular polymorph spell.
Bard Talisman XP Adjustments
- Cacophony Burst base XP reduced from 15,000 → 2,000
- Ember’s Echoes base XP reduced from 15,000 → 500
- Harmonic Melody base XP reduced from 15,000 → 2,000
- Soul Chorus base XP reduced from 15,000 → 2,000
- Violent Crescendo base XP reduced from 15,000 → 2,000
XP & Scaling Fixes
- Rage of the Crowd will no longer gain XP if you are out of range of the provoked creatures.
- Prevents spell-based damage increases and XP gain on talismans other than:
- Idol of the Magi
- Idol of Forbidden Magic
- Idol of Endless Forms
Visual & Cosmetic Fixes
- Decreased the priority of skin dyes so they no longer overwrite polymorph body visuals.
Housing & World Fixes
- Fixed an issue with RDAs returning players to Trammel when exiting instanced housing.
These changes improve clarity, balance, and long-term scalability of the Enhanced Polymorph and Bard Talisman systems while restoring expected behavior in legacy mechanics.
